BIOGRAPHY OF D. JOSHUA TAYLOR
D. Joshua Taylor "Josh" was born in Logan Utah, where he lived until his parents migrated to Columbus Ohio. Josh lived there until he was 6 years old, then moving to Rexburg, ID where he now lives. Josh is a junior and Madison High School and is active in the schools drama, debate, and speech activities. Josh began doing genealogy when he was 10 years old, at 11 he began volunteering at the BYU-Idaho (then Ricks College) Family History Center. At thirteen he began teaching at the centers annual Family History Conference. Josh has taught at every conference since except one, during which he was attending state debate. Josh currently serves as the state coordinator for 5 states for the USGENWEB project. In 2000 Josh founded Genealogy Under the Sun, then in 2001 Josh set up the Youth Chapter to the Utah Genealogical Association where he currently serves as the president. Josh has lectured for youth groups and other genealogical organizations all over the Utah and Idaho area. Josh was the recipient of the HOBY Scholarship, Josh lives with his parents, Dave and Judy and his younger sister Allison.
